NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF DRAFT VALUATION LIST

(Under section 11,12 and 14)

In accordance with the provisions of the Local Governments (Rating) act,2005 Notice is hereby given to the general public that the Draft valuation list for Kiryandongo District has been completed.

A copy of the valuation list is available for Inspection in the following places for a period of 30 days from 1^st October 2025.:

1. Kiryandongo District headquarters
2. Bweyale Town Council
3. Kigumba Town council
4. Kiryandongo TC
5. Karuma TC
6. Kiryandongo Sub county
7. Masindi port sub county
8. Mboira Sub county
9. Kigumba Sub county
10. Kyankende Sub county
11. Kicwabugingo Sub county
12. Nyamahasa Sub county
13. Diima Sub county
14. Mutunda Sub county

Any person who is aggrieved by:

1. The inclusion of any property in the draft valuation list. or
2. Any value ascribed in the draft Valuation list to a property. or
3. Any other statement made or omitted to be made in the draft valuation list with respect to any property or
4. In case of a building or portion of a building occupied in parts, by the valuation in the Draft valuation list of that building or portion of a building as a single rateable property may within thirty (30) days of publication of notice, serve a notice of objection upon Kiryandongo District to the draft valuation list in relation to the rateable property.

Note: A person shall not be entitled to be heard by the valuation court unless he or she had lodged in writing a notice of objection with in the stipulated time.
